As a footnote - I've just sold my SA trailer on eBay and got a very tidy sum for it! ;)

I've got the SA trailer and it's great! .. the brakes work well and reliably hold the boat with the handbrake on a slipway (can't allways be said for auto reverse ones) .. also with the positive locking of the brakes at the hitch, you can back up a steep hill .. the bearings have been OK so far despite regular dunking in seawater .. all I do is keep the caps well greased .. the lights still work but I tend to use a separate lighting board anyway .. maybe I'm just lucky, hope I'm not speaking too soon .. admittedly the damper did fail .. probably as a result of total dunkings and a good measure of neglect .. have a scrap caravan one fitted (not exactly as before) that works well .. I do wonder about finding replacement pads in time .. I believe there was a Yahoo post about this but have lost it .. does anyone know? .. also I have wondered about bearing buddies but not sure what size for the SA hub .. again any ideas?
