My brother in law also has one, based over in Birdham, I am sure we can persuade him over to talk boats over a beer.

Looks like you have got the startings of a social sub-committee there Chris.;)

Thanks for the info James.
Is your brother-in-law also on this forum?
What is his boat info.?

I will be collating the new information and updating the Owners List within the next couple of days.
Cheers

I'm really pleased to have made contact with James and have now sent a PM. So even if I can't sail around here at least we can meet up... Great...

Hello all

As a result of my recent request for information, I have received updates for the following hull numbers:

4, 14, 25, 30, 35, 39, 50, 52, 54, 67, 69, 85, 86, 97, 100, 102, 103, 111, 121, 125,and Ian Allen's self build "Tiptoe".

There are still many gaps. :(

I will be changing the way the information is presented on the Association website, in the near future.
Cheers

New Owners List

Post by Dennis »

New look Owners List now posted on Association website:

http://capecutter19association.org/owners-register/

Year built, Hull colour, Sail colour and Update added.

Might be worth checking your data (again) in case I have made any mistakes in producing the spreadsheet.
Cheers

I have also added a general "Notes" column, where interesting infomation about individual boats can be posted.

As usual, please let me know if there is anything which you think is suitable to be included.

Hello Charles

I am not I-pad literate, so can't help with that one. All I know is that it works on my desktop and notebook computers.

Are there any other I-pad users out there with difficulties? :(

More to the point, can anyone propose a solution?
Cheers

Hello Dennis,

The members list opens up fine on my iPad using the Safari or Google search both with cellular or wifi connections.

It depends what Charles means by "does not work"? Does he mean cannot scroll through the list or cannot bring it up at all? If it's a scrolling problem try moving the screen to the extreme left and on the right hand vertical scroll bar, stroke the bar vertically upwards to move the screen downwards. The opposite to what you would think - quirky I know!

I like the new list Dennis, very good-nice colours!

Thanks for putting my inboard and carbon fibre mast in-I would not have been so bold. My sails are tan by the way - a true Gaffer!

If the editor can spare a few extra column inches could I suggest putting "Three times class winner of the Round The Island Race" in for Sea Badger assuming the new owner does not mind.

All the best for Christmas and The New Year to you Dennis and all.

Regards
David Peck

Hello all

I have "tweaked" the column widths, so that the full width of all columns is visible without have to scroll horizontally.

http://capecutter19association.org/owners-register/

This may help with I-pad problems.

I thought an I-pad was something worn by a pirate. ;)

Seasons greetings to one and all, and here's looking forward to a fantastic New Year of sailing. :D
Cheers
