Mast rings for Main sail

I have posted a couple of pictures of a prototype mast ring I made. Thinking of making a set and fitting them when a drop the mast in April.
Has anyone tried this.

Simon has rings fitted to his mainsail.

Mast rings

Second trip out with the new mast rings fitted. Very happy, makes mast raising and lowering much easier.
