Furling Staysail

much written on for & against, assuming for, which one for SA North sails, where and how much? Any recent history? I have a friendly local sailmaker who will convert luff. I assume thats the form.
Sorry message brief, typing LHD, one hand. 1st major ski tumble in 40yrs, plates, bolts, screws, pain, no sleep and therefore as you will find much time for asking dumb questions. Sadly repair 3 month job in variety of restrictive contraptions so boat prep delayed.

, ferry, Lac Annecy B&B and marina berth Port Argeles all booked for July/Aug so that to look forward to.
