Hi Stephan,

I think this years Morbihan Festival may qualify as the first Association 'Adhoc Social Sail'. Two more boats, namely, 'Quartet' and 'Thumble' will be joining you in two weeks time. We are both launching at Lamour Baden albeit on different days.
Look forward to meeting you again.

Regards, Martin & Janet Elliott CC 'Thumble'

If someone wishes to be the central contact for this I will put it on the main site in the rallies section.

Hi,

we will see you around. I will be in M. from Monday onward, but will probably launch in Crouesty. I will try to coax a berth from the stubborn harbourmaster as I want to keep her there till our summer Hols in July.

Lookin formward to meeting you all.
Happy Sailing

Hello everyone,

me and Thomas will certainly be there again - for the 5th out o a total 6 semaines.

As I have stated time and time again - this is a meet not to be missed. It is so well organized, so friendly and welcoming, so many nice people to meet - SO MUCH FUN and on top of it all it's free.

We will sign up as always with PETITE PLAISANCE TRADITIONNELLE / TRADITIONAL LEISURE BOATS (Flottilla 3) - this time round the description in English is a little misleading as it only translates half the french text, which goes on to say: "Loctudy, Olonnois, Drascombes. Dériveurs anciens, Sailing Dinghies... Sloups auriques, canots au tiers de moins de 6m... Cornish Shrimpers, etc. ", which of course makes us fit right in.

So I hope we show up in force and beat the record of 4 CC's present that we set in 2009. I remember CC15 "Quartet",CC26 "Thumble" andCC59 "Kerina" with us in CC52 "Herr Nilsson". Did I miss anyone?

So book your ferries and see you all on 30.05.2011
Happy Sailing

I probably won't have my own CC19 by then, but would be willing to join someone and share costs. :)

Morbihan

Hullo all,

I'm sorely tempted to do Morbihan in 2011, with CC31 "Ladybird". Need a crew member as its in the middle of the school term and so I cannot pressgang family members!

Ru88ell, are you up for this?!

Hi Toby.

I'm very tempted. If I haven't got my own by then I'll do it with you. If I have my own I'll help you to find a crew.

Hi,
for the ones who have been before - how much sailing time is there each day? OK, I realise its a 'how long is a piece of string' type question but assuming there is a decent breeze and assuming one doesn't detour, are the daily legs a couple of hours long or 6/7 hours long?

My wife is asking, and if we do it there are likely to be 5 aboard, so short sails to destinations plus potentially a potter for those of us keener might be feasible.

It is a week that has attracted me for some time, so it could be the year.

Regards,

David

Morbihan 2011

Happy New Year everyone and let's hope we all cut a few capers in 2011.

I am registered with CC31 'Ladybird' for Morbihan but crewless and not keen to do it shorthanded. So if anyone knows of someone who'd be in a position to share the sailing bit I'd be really grateful.
