What is your favourite piece of kit you could not do without on your CC ? As a new owner I'm currently getting a whole bunch of kit together and my favourite so far is a bottle of Dalwhinnie.

Youngest daughter got me a bottle of Jura for Xmas. Only time will tell if it makes it to the new season and then as far as the bosun's locker though ;)

I detect a trend here.

My preference is for Lagavulan (16 year old of course) :D

I was given a bottle of famous grouse by a guest aboard and for some reason it doesn't evaporate very fast. I keep forgetting to bring a single malt aboard.

My favourite piece of kit on Aurora would probably have to solar panels- all those gadgets the kids want to charge up (as well as my iPad) and we're self sufficient for power. That or the galley, so we can cook safely underway. Both are vital in changing our boar from a day boat, to one capable of an expedition.

The Greek tipple of choice is tsiperou... Eaten with fish meze.... Never carried on board as it is waiting for us at every harbourside taverna. My most useful bit of kit is the stern anchor. I can sneak into shallow harbours, beaches etc throw out the stern anchor and go in shallow. Attach a bow line or deploy bow anchor ashore and we can park anywhere. As long as there is no swell.. We also have a home made rope ladder for the bow.... The cause of much laughter when boarding after an hour or two in the taverna....

as sailing with our CC19 from Fryslan it has to be "Beerenburg" of course!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beerenburg
But not the Sonnema as shown in wiki, that tastes like ice-tea.
The only "Beerenburg" allowed on board of Zimp is "Weduwe Joustra"
