Hello all,
This is an update on people attending the Kielder Rally
1 Adam Bridger, Meisje
2 Dennis Ogle, Mary Anne
3 Gary Oldfield, Money Penny
4 Charles Erb, Aurora
5 Tony Treen Wadudu
6 Alister and Katie Bell, Tystie
7 Malcolm Sadler, Rondo
8 Paul Turner, Sapphire
9 Richard Woods

Fantastic numbers but more are welcome.

I have been on the lake this weekend and it is looking beautiful, I had a perfectly peaceful night moored up in one of the cuttings whilst there was plenty going on around the club house.

The Agenda remains as advertised with the addition of Thurs 22nd July BBQ in Gary's field which many people seem to want to do.
Friday: Launch and free sail with a meal provided at Kielder Yacht Club
Saturday: Treasure hunt around the lake and BBQ at KYC
Sunday : A friendly race and a meal at the restaurant at Leaplish waterside park
Monday: sail? retrieve, pack and trail

As mentioned before Gary is happy to park boats in his field if you wish to spend more time exploring the district

Adam

I may have missed this, but are we mooring on buoys or on walk-ashore pontoons? Ie. Do we need tenders?

Many thanks

Hi Adam

Is it too late to join?

Originally we could not come as we had to take all Marions stuff down to Poole for the start of her final year of medicine on that weekend. However this has been delayed until the following week so we can come!

My boat is under repair at the moment but should be available by the time of the Kielder meet.

It will be myself and Cathy.

Regards

Simon
