Hello all

The time is almost here. :D

I would suggest that participants (and others) have a look at the information available from Harwich Harbour Authority: http://www.hha.co.uk/leisure.html

A chart of the area (not for navigation) tide tables, tide flow speeds etc are all freely available to download.

I have obtained the Imray chart Y16 "Walton Backwaters to Ipswich and Woodbridge" which covers exactly our proposed possible itinary. I encourage all the skippers to have accurate (up to date) charts on board, after all there is going to be plenty of opportunity to run aground in the shallow waters we are going to be sailing in.

I am planning to haul Mary Ann out of Kielder Water tomorrow and prepare her for the 340 mile journey to Levington, much easier than the 550 mile trip to Mylor last year.
I am looking forward to some of that soft southern weather, it has been blowing a gale up here in the north for most of the last two weeks. ;)

After the event I will create a gallery to allow anyone with photos to post them.
Cheers

Dennis

It is over.

But my, did we have some fun!

Here is pic of CC19s anchored off Harkstead Point on the River Stour.

Probably the most number of CC19s ever anchored together.

Dennis,
You are to congratulated on the organizing and bringing to fruition this event.
I have read all the blogs/comments and every one seems to have a had a great time.
I have managed to get Merlin back in the water after my long break.there really are a lot of bits of string to remember.

Thanks Jack

But it is Charles Erb that deserves all the credit, I did very little apart from the odd post and email shot. :o

Good to hear that merlin is back on the water though. :)
Cheers

As one who had to miss the week, sadly, I would love to see photos of what you all got up to. Can I suggest a Flickr or drop box share? Not sure how to do either but the sites usually lead you by the hand, designed as they are for neophytes. Anyone want to take the lead?

Now recovering from having my appendix out and missing the arrival of summer in Scotland. Boat still outside the house!!

Thanks for your kind words, Oak. Hope to see you at ICCW16?

There are lots of photos on Aurora's blog (link below). I'll make a photo album when I get a chance too.

Hello all.

I have created a public album in our Picture Gallery dedicated to the "International Cape Cutter Week 2015".

To set the ball rolling I have uploaded a selection of photos which I took during the week.
Anyone else (members) can also upload photos into the same album, I encourage them to do so. :D

If anyone need any help just PM or email me.
Cheers
