genniker

Has anybody any experience of using the Hyde sails genniker and any advice as to how to rig it and pole size requirements?

I only know of two boats that have used a genniker.

Mike Brooke certainly used one, he had class wins in the Round the Island Race three times whilst using it. The boat "Sea Badger II" is now owned by Simon Temple but I do not think he has ever used the genniker.

I think David Hudson when he bought hull number 111 as a new boat, equipped it with a genniker. However that boat has changed ownership twice since. The current owner is Paul Roper (Runrig) and the boat is now named Fraoch.
