Mooring warps

Zephyr came with about 2m of old polyprop rope, so I rushed out and ordered some made up mooring warps with spliced eyes. They were the smallest I could find, yet they still filled the cleats with just one turn.

In Cowes last week I bought some 8mm three strand nylon Liros. 2 x 10m and 2 x 15m. It's so nice to handle, and with 1300kg breaking strain is more that strong enough - and it fits the cleats. It's also freed up a load of space in the cockpit lockers, as all four take up about the same space as one of the 15m lines I was using.

I wish I'd done it back in 2010.
